Sports Tutor

About the Role

An outstanding FE College in Burton upon Trent is seeking a passionate Sports Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching across Sport programmes (Levels 1-3). You will focus on sports coaching, fitness training, and research methods, supporting learners in achieving their qualifications and developing essential skills for the sports industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons and practical sessions.
• Teach sports coaching, fitness training, and research methods.
• Support learners in achieving sport qualifications and personal goals.
• Provide constructive feedback and track learner progress.
• Prepare students for assessments and practical evaluations.
• Organise and oversee sports sessions and enrichment activities.
• Stay updated with industry practices and coaching developments.

Requirements

• Passion for teaching and learning in sport and physical education.
• Relevant qualification in Sport or related field (minimum Level 3).
• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one.
• Experience teaching or coaching young people is desirable.
• Organised, flexible, and dedicated to student success.

Compensation

£22.50 - £28.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Location & Schedule

Burton upon Trent, Monday to Friday, 18 hours per week.
