ST4/Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics
About the Role
The clinical duties will include attending to and managing Paediatric patients presenting to Childrens Assessment unit,
which might include referrals from primary care and Emergency medicine, leading ward rounds and attending to Paediatric
emergencies. They will also cover the neonatal unit, postnatal ward and attend to neonatal emergencies on the labour
ward and theatres. The post holder will be working closely and overseeing the tier 1 doctors and nurse practitioners on
the Tier 1 rota. We are a very supportive group of consultants who will be working closely with the appointee and
supervising them. Ipswich is a busy DGH and the post-holder will have a good opportunity to gain wide experience in
