staff Nurse Acute Stroke Unit

About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 nurses with excellent communication skills, who relish the

challenge of working within a neurosciences speciality. The Acute Stroke Unit is a specialist unit that admits patients

with acute stroke, direct from the emergency department. We specialise in caring for hyperacute, Level 2 critical care

patients as well as acute stroke patients. We are one of the fastest thrombolysing units in the country and consistently

score an A rating on SSNAP. Our annual turnover of patients range between 900-1000 patients a year, resulting in a busy,

hyperacute unit that is well established and focused on providing excellent patient care. We believe in your ongoing
