Staff Nurse Cardiac Day Unit
About the Role
To provide pre and post procedure care and to assist medical staff with Cardiology diagnostic day case procedures
including, TOE, Dobutamine Stress Test, Loop recorder insertion, Pacemaker insertion and Angiography. To demonstrate a
high standard of practice in assessing, implementing and evaluating patient care. To be involved in Service development
in collaboration with the Department Manager / Charge Nurse. To promote and engage in a nurse-led environment ensuring
that care is delivered as per trust policies and procedures and in accordance with evidence-based practice in line with
agreed national standards for clinical practice. To participate in teaching, education and training. Be aware of budget
