About the Role
Act as an effective resource/advisor to colleagues, in the delivery of nursing care. Ensure that nursing practice
reflects current clinical developments and is based on sound evidence. Promote a healthy, positive and safe environment
for patients and staff. Take responsibility for the day to day nursing organisation of the clinical area. Participate in
setting and reviewing standards for practice and evaluating outcomes as part of the clinical governance agenda Undertake
the Trust Corporate and Directorate specific development and competency Programmes. Able to identify learning needs in
self, negotiating a Personal Development Plan recognising own limitations. To undertake any expanded roles deemed
