About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join
our Day Stay Unit (DSU)at Broomfield Hospital and Braintree Community hospital .
These posts will involve the candidate working with the surgical patient through the pre operative and post operative
periods undertaking a nurse led admission and discharge role.
DSU undertakes a surgical pathway for patients undergoing an elective procedure who are admitted, operated upon, and
discharged on the same calendar day. DSU also supports an emergency ambulatory pathway for urgent operations that can be
