Staff Nurse - Discharge Lounge | University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Nurses to join the discharge lounge team within

the Clinical site team, Trust Services. The Lounge will offer a 24/7 service comprising of 6 beds overnight for next day

discharges, a weekend discharge service as well as the same day discharges currently in place.

The discharge lounge offers a safe comfortable environment for patients whilst waiting to be discharged. Patients are

discharged through the Lounge to maintain and facilitate the flow of the hospital, freeing up much needed beds for

emergency and elective patients on a day to day basis. The discharge lounge currently sees on average 400+ patients per
