The future of Emergency Care in Dorset remains exciting, with a major new Emergency site being created in Bournemouth

for 2025, which will see it being one of the biggest Emergency Departments on the South Coast. The Royal Bournemouth

Hospital, be at the forefront of this development with our staff being the cornerstone of the new nursing team in the

future.

Combined, the Poole and Royal Bournemouth Emergency Departments see over 400 patients per day, each encompassing all

major specialties and Poole was ranked in the top 6 of all Emergency Departments nationally for the standard of care
