Staff Nurse - Infusion Unit

About the Role

The post holder will work in the infusion unit and main hospital when necessary, admitting patients, screening the

suitability of patients for treatments, liaising with a multidisciplinary team, administering IV infusions, writing

discharge summaries, discharging patients, and assisting in planning the follow up care for patients. You will be

trained in cannulation and venesection, accessing central lines and ports. You will also be trained in administering

intravenous medication and cytotoxic treatment. All training, supervision and support will be given as you progress in

the role. You will be further supported by a multi-disciplinary team including senior medical staff, specialist
