Staff Nurse - Inpatient Services
About the Role
Main Tasks: 1. To ensure that the IPS service delivers an excellent standard of care to patients and their families 2.
To lead a team of nurses for a shift (all) and dependent on experience on occasion lead the IPS for a shift in the
absence of a more senior nurse 3. To offer timely and individual care based on need, using referral criteria, regular
patient review, assessment, re-assessment and discharge criteria as appropriate 4. To provide direct delivery of care to
patients 5. To provide symptom control for patients including the administration of medicines in line with Thames
Hospice Policy 6. To communicate fully and effectively with patients, their families and professional colleagues to
