About the Role
KEY DUTIES Develop and expand scope of professional practice to include venepuncture, cannulation, administration of
cytotoxic chemotherapy and management of central venous lines in line with NMC and Trust Policies. To consistently
organise and deliver individualised patient care, ensuring patients physical, social and psychological needs are met. To
contribute to the maintenance and development of evidence based clinical standards. To maintain contemporaneous nursing
records in accordance with Trust and NMC guidance. To participate in the review of existing methods of nursing care via
benchmarking and audit and the implementation of necessary changes. Keep up to date with developments in the care and
