About the Role

Lulworth ward is a Gold accredited acute general surgical ward with a friendly and professional team that will provide

an ideal environment for applicants to develop their skills, knowledge and competency in the challenging demands of

caring for the acute surgical patient. We have on ward support from a clinical practice educator and work closely with

the relevant specialist nurses and also support from the discharge team for the complex discharges.

Lulworth ward is a 31 bed ward where you will need to be able to care for patients before and after surgery and be

involved in all aspects of care from admission to discharge. Many patients are step-downs from the critical care unit
