About the Role
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join the newly developed low secure 12 bedded forensic learning disability
service based on Turner ward, Shaftesbury Clinic. The forensic service sits within the Specialist Service Line of the
Trust. From May 2023 this unit will be housed in a state-of-the-art new secure building on the Springfield Hospital
site. The ward has been adapted to deliver care and treatment to patients with intellectual (learning) disabilities who
may also have Autism.
All patients will have a learning disability with mental health disorder and will be detained under the Mental Health
Responsibilities
