About the Role

The Eye Clinic is the largest Outpatients Department in the Trust and we treat patients of all age groups.

Ophthalmic care is a fast paced service. Ophthalmology demand is constantly increasing due to an ageing population and

treatment changes becoming more available, allowing more eye conditions to be treated long term.

The staff nurses role is to participate in the patients journey of care through the clinic. Most of our patients will

have multiple appointments within one clinic visit.
