About the Role

The post holder has responsibility for the provision of competent professional nursing care, to meet with individual

needs of the designated patient population. The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of such care to a

specific group of patients, and take charge of the ward / department on a regular basis. The post holder will organise

own time and that of junior staff, delegating to junior staff and learners, and participating in teaching and education

programmes for staff and patients.
