Staff Nurse Renal OPD/Transplant

About the Role

Plans and delivers care and investigations to renal patients using competent skills in such areas as venepuncture,

cannulation, administration of intravenous drugs, ECGs. Co-ordinates clinic activity and reviews patient care needs

within the department, supporting the Healthcare Assistants running clinics. Interprets test results accurately leading

to appropriate actions and referrals to the multidisciplinary team as appropriate. Is actively involved in the

development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care with a flexible approach, involving all members of the

multidisciplinary health care team thus promoting patient-centred care. Provide follow-up care via phone, for patients
