About the Role
Clinical To co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing care (without direct supervision) to babies and their parents, in
accordance with responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct To be competent to manage and implement the assessment,
planning, delivery & evaluation of a high standard of evidence based care to babies and their parent To deliver
effective discharge planning of babies, liaising with other professionals and agencies as required Promote family
integrated care and act as an advocate for babie Maximise opportunities for health promotion and health education for
parent To provide nursing care to high dependency babies during both the acute phase and when stabilised To provide
