Staff Nurse

About the Role

St. Vincent’s Hospice is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for our In-Patient Unit. This role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a palliative setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in palliative or cancer care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement high standards of patient care.
• Provide person-centred, safe, and effective care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Work collaboratively within the In-Patient Unit team.
• Support other hospice teams as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in palliative or cancer care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to compassionate patient care.
