About the Role
Working towards the band 6 senior staff nurse job description, as below. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES CLINICAL
PRACTICE To maintain a high standard of nursing care and service provision, testing, treatment and management of
sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and screening for HIV and other blood borne infections (BBVs). To inform,
advise, teach and counsel clients on all methods of contraception including performing Implanon insertion and removal.
To obtain clear and thorough relevant histories from patients. To examine patients and obtain appropriate clinical
specimens according to clinic protocol. To manage a range of symptomatic and asymptomatic female and male cases
