About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join our Stroke service as a Band 6 Clinical Nurse
Specialist (CNS).
The CNS role is a vital part of the MDT approach to managing and supporting patients presenting with acute stroke
syndromes, as well as the chronic and lasting effects of stroke. The CNS is also involved in the
thrombolysis/thrombectomy pathway and is a leader in providing secondary prevention education to patients and their
families. You will also run clinics in conjunction with the B7 Stroke CNS and support the identification of AF using the
