Stroke Consultant
About the Role
Clinical Care The postholder will support the delivery of stroke services for Greater Peterborough and Southwest
Lincolnshire. The primary base will be Peterborough City Hospital, working within the Hyperacute and Acute Stroke Units,
with potential cross-site work at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The role forms part of a team of twelve stroke specialists
providing emergency and hyperacute care, acute and rehabilitation care, virtual stroke services, and TIA and outpatient
clinics. The postholder will work closely with consultants to ensure equitable service provision and contribute to
cross-cover arrangements. Research The Acute Stroke Centre is highly research-active and supported by specialist
