About the Role
JOB SUMMARY Work as an autonomous practitioner responsible for the triage and initial assessment, examination,
initiation of treatments and investigations for suspected stroke patients adhering to protocols. Implement, co-ordinate,
review and evaluate care in collaboration with medical colleagues Be responsible for the co-ordination of assessment and
appropriate clinical transfer of patients with a suspected stroke Coordinator and manage the shift on the hyper acute
stroke unit Be responsible for assisting with data collection to input to the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme
(SSNAP), ensuring the patients receive best possible care in accordance to the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Acute
