Study Skills Lecturer - London
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Study Skills Lecturer to enhance student learning across various higher education programs. You will collaborate with subject lecturers to develop and teach essential study skills, including English language, numeracy, and digital literacy. This role requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends, contributing to our mission of changing lives through education.
Responsibilities
- Design and document bespoke courses and resources.
- Deliver and evaluate teaching to improve student experience.
- Provide feedback on academic writing and study skills.
- Conduct tutorial consultations tailored to individual needs.
- Engage with VLE and facilitate online learning activities.
- Contribute to quality assurance systems and processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant subject area; PhD desirable.
- Previous UK HE lecturing experience.
- Track record of teaching diverse adult learners.
- Experience in providing study skills support.
- High level of digital literacy and communication skills.

Compensation
The salary for this position is £55,000 per year.
Location & Schedule
This role is based in London (Greenford and East London) and requires flexibility in scheduling.
