About the Role
The post holder will be working closely with our three Gynaecological Oncologists and two Clinical Nurse Specialists. It
is expected that the post holder will use this opportunity to develop and become a confident and experienced
Gynae/Oncologist by the end of 2 or 3 year training. We have established a robust surgical service for women with
advanced ovarian cancer and we perform radical surgery with minimal morbidity. We also run a minimal invasive surgical
service by using both laparoscopy and robotics for the treatment of endometrial cancer.
The trainee will also have the opportunity to participate in the colposcopy service of the department and achieve BSCCP
