About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Consultant to join our department as a Substantive Consultant in
Intensive Care, commencing in April 2026. The successful candidate will be integrated into our established 1:8 ICU
on‑call rota and will provide high‑quality Direct Clinical Care within the Intensive Care Unit. During non‑ICU weeks,
the post‑holder will deliver daytime DCC in a complementary specialty, preferably Anaesthetics within the Operating
Theatres, supporting service needs and ensuring continuity of care across the department.
