About the Role
As a Supervising Practitioner at Compass, you will enhance the mental health of children and young people in Birmingham. Your role involves guiding Educational Mental Health Practitioners, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with schools to foster a supportive environment. This position allows you to make a significant impact while ensuring quality care and reflective practice within the team.
Responsibilities
- Guide and supervise Educational Mental Health Practitioners.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions.
- Conduct consultations and training for school staff.
- Support link meetings and audits for mental health strategies.
- Maintain a small caseload to stay connected to direct practice.
Requirements
- Core qualification in mental health, nursing, or related field.
- At least two years of experience in therapeutic interventions.
- Knowledge of CBT-informed approaches for young people.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision or mentoring.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
