About the Role

Optalis is seeking Support Workers for its Out and About service, which assists individuals with learning disabilities in engaging with local events and activities. This role involves providing person-centred support, facilitating life skills, and ensuring a positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support.
• Engage customers in group and one-to-one activities.
• Support with life skills and emotional wellbeing.
• Administer medication and assist with personal care.
• Drive service vehicles to transport customers.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience in the care sector is beneficial.
• Enthusiastic and compassionate attitude.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training.

Compensation

Starting from £12.34 per hour, with a full-time equivalent of £23,807.45.

Location & Schedule
