Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate support workers to join our dedicated all-female team, providing 24/7 care for a young man in his twenties. Your role will focus on enhancing his social skills and aiding his development through engaging activities, particularly those involving animals.

Responsibilities

• Support the young man in work and volunteering activities.
• Engage in physical and outdoor activities year-round.
• Provide companionship during leisure activities.
• Monitor progress and maintain daily records.
• Assist with food preparation and household tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with vulnerable adults and learning disabilities.
• Current DBS check is mandatory.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic cooking skills and understanding of food safety.
• Must possess a clean driving license.
