About the Role

The TB nurse specialist will be a member of the TB service providing support to patients, families and carers,delivering

expert patient-centred nursing care and act as a case manager for own caseload of patients being treated for

Tuberculosis/Non TB Mycobacterial infection (NMTB) and Latent TB Infection (LTBI).

• To autonomously run nurse led TB contact clinics and TB/NMTB patient clinics.

• Facilitate accurate healthcare information, health advice and appropriate support and referral.

• To participate in developing the strategic direction of the TB service in line with national and local targets working
