About the Role
1. Responsible for the provision, management, and development of a highly specialist pharmaceutical service to the
orthopaedic specialty to achieve a high standard of efficiency and effectiveness 2. Clinically screen prescriptions to
ensure the safe, efficient, evidence-based, and rational use of medicines in line with the BNSSG Formulary and
departmental policies so that risks to patients are minimised 3. Contribute to the overall development of the clinical
pharmacy service through active participation in relevant meetings. Work closely with all members of the pharmacy
department and other healthcare professionals 4. Demonstrate strong leadership skills across all elements of the role 5.
