About the Role

LTHT is made up of two large teaching hospitals, and has an annual birth rate of over 10,000. The post holder will work

at both acute units and liaise with relevant health professionals within the Trust and primary care colleagues in Leeds.

The role requires direct management of a team of midwives and maternity support workers. The jobholder is responsible

for the ward/department clinical budget as determined by finance for each year. The Jobholder will have responsibility

for the effective and efficient management of the maternity ward/department). They will provide clinical and

professional management and leadership for the team. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring the assessment of care
