About the Role
The Team Leader in the Emergency Department is responsible for overseeing patient care, ensuring adherence to regulations, and fostering effective communication within the team. This role involves managing staff, participating in recruitment, and providing support during critical situations. The Team Leader also plays a key role in training and development, ensuring high standards of care for acutely unwell patients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing care for patients in the department.
- Participate in recruitment and performance reviews.
- Provide support during critical situations and bereavement.
- Ensure accurate nursing records are maintained.
- Conduct training for staff and oversee their development.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

Compensation
