About the Role

As a Theatre HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring a safe, smooth patient journey throughout their surgical experience. Responsibilities

  • Support patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Assist in theatre with set-up, equipment preparation, and maintaining sterility.
  • Support surgical and nursing teams during procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring readiness of supplies.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients at every stage.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, ideally in theatres.
  • Caring and empathetic approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
