As a Theatre HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring a safe, smooth patient journey throughout their surgical experience. Responsibilities
- Support patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Assist in theatre with set-up, equipment preparation, and maintaining sterility.
- Support surgical and nursing teams during procedures.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring readiness of supplies.
- Provide compassionate support to patients at every stage.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, ideally in theatres.
- Caring and empathetic approach with excellent communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
