Theatre Nurse / ODP

About the Role

Main Responsibilities and Duties To prepare patients for theatre including pre-operative support and ensuring that

patients are comfort and mentally prepared for surgery. You will be doing pre assessments but also have experience of

scrubbing in theatre/ 1stassist. You will be required to assist with administrative duties such as audits, protocols and

policies Ensure that each patient has been assessed and that their care is delivered appropriate to their identified

needs. To ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity is maintained throughout their journey through their treatment

pathway. Supervise unqualified staff and assist in induction training of new staff. Communicate effectively and clearly
