About the Role

CLINICAL Provide care in the clinical area as an effective member of theclinical team.2. Establish a safe working

environment for patient and staff andensure that patient contact and dignity are compromised as little aspossible.3. And

/ or act as scrub or circulating practitioner.4. Maintain appropriate department documentation eg profiles, careplans

and electronic record.5. Co-ordinate and participate in the safe transfer and positioning ofpatients6. Assist in the

cleaning of clinical areas and equipment, ensuring thatthe area is clear of potential hazards7. Ensure the safe removal

of clinical waste and contaminated itemsincluding blood products.8. Ensure equipment is available prior to start of
