About the Role
Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist with prescribed patient care according to the care plan and under formal
supervision of qualified staff. Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of a safe environment for patients
undergoing surgery or treatment. Participate in the movement and handling of patients and moving of items complying with
the Moving and Handling Policy at all times. Assist the registered practitioners in carrying out required surgical and
anaesthetic procedures including participating in safety checks within the operating theatre. Produce accurate legible
written documentation where required. Enter information into the electronic theatre information system. Receive and pass
