About the Role

The Theatre Support Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by being a

member of a theatre team, providing support and assistance to professionally qualified staff and other team members.

Responsibilities will include participating in patient care, equipment care, infection control, ancillary and clerical

duties.

• Preparing the Theatre: Setting up surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the surgery.

• Patient Care: Moving patients on trolleys and preparing patients for anaesthesia.
