About the Role
Establish and maintain a working rapport with nursing, medical, technical, ancillary and administration colleagues To
ensure that cleanliness is maintained within all areas of the department and to undertake necessary general domestic
work. Report any deficiencies in equipment breakages and repairs required To maintain confidentiality of patients in all
aspects Contribute any suggestions which may be helpful in the running of the department To collect and deliver within
the hospital any items that are required by the department e.g. CSSD, pharmacy, wards To be flexible regarding the
rostered shifts according to the needs of the service Understand the importance of infection control, undertaking any
