About the Role

To provide professional and clinical expertise in the specialty of Tissue Viability and act as a resource for education

and clinical expertise for Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Can deputise in the absence of the lead Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse for the provision of services to patients at

risk from and with Pressure Ulcers throughout the Trust which includes risk assessment from admission to discharge.

Able to assess all types of wounds including; trauma, leg ulcers, Diabetic and surgical and Pressure Ulcers and be able

to review plans of care.
