About the Role

TMS (Transcranial magnetic stimulation) is a treatment for people with Major Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). TRD

is the term to describe people with depression for whom standard treatments with antidepressants and psychological

therapies have been unsuccessful. This form of depression is chronic and difficult to treat; it often requires inpatient

carer often sometimes for an extended period.

The Tower Hamlets Neuromodulation Team is an outpatient service that provides direct care to a Service Users. The Clinic

works with Consultants, NMHT’s, Wards, HTT across the borough as well as private patients and others service providers
