About the Role

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Post Utilise professional skills to assess, plan and implement and deliver care to

patients who are in an acute phase of their illness. Organise the provision of care and act as named professional within

a care team for a specified group of patients. To function as a member of a multidisciplinary team taking appropriate

responsibility for the implementation of the decisions made by the team. Ensure planned nursing care is implemented and

evaluated. Participate in training programmes for both trained and untrained staff. In conjunction with the university

and senior staff nurses ensure training programmes/objectives for student nurses are implemented. To be responsible for
