About the Role

This role is a training post for the Trainee Emergency Practitioner to work towards achieving an advanced level of

practice and qualified to work autonomously within the Urgent Treatment Centre

(UTC). Once qualified the post holder will deliver care to patients attending the Emergency Department and the UTC

without reference to a doctor. The role encompasses all pillars of advanced practice which

are clinical, leadership, research and educational components as detailed below.

To qualify as an Emergency Practitioner, the successful applicant will be required to complete a three-week training
