Trainee Ovarian Cancer Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
This is a training post with banding awarded depending on experience and successful completion of relevant courses.
Training will consist of health assessment course, medical ultrasound in gynaecology, in house teaching and assessment.
Until completion of the above training, the post holder will be in training in preparation for the autonomous
practitioner role and their work will be supervised by their nominated mentor and other designated senior
medical/nursing staff in the clinical area. Please be aware, this is a 12 month, fixed term post funded by the West
midlands Cancer Alliance.Secondments will be considered.
