  About the Role
This Trainee SEN Teacher role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. You will work closely with pupils, helping them develop communication and life skills while contributing to their emotional and social growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide teaching and support to pupils following individualised plans.
- Prepare and deliver lessons focusing on communication and life skills.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed.
- Support pupils during trips and practical learning experiences.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and disabilities.
- Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English and Maths.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Positive attitude and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

Compensation
Salary: £26,458 FTE (£23,000 PA pro rata), based on 36.75 hours per week.
Location & Schedule
Part-time options available; minimum of 3 days per week, including Tuesdays and Fridays.
