Trainee Teacher

About the Role

Join our specialist autism school in Cranleigh as a Trainee Teacher and launch your teaching career. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of autistic students while working towards a CABAS Teacher Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for autistic students.
• Support students in developing academic and life skills.
• Implement strategies for managing challenging behaviours.
• Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
• Participate in professional development and mentoring sessions.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 6 months experience with children with SEN.
• Strong desire to teach and support autistic students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
