Transfer Team Assistant
About the Role
The post holder is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of cath lab patients around the hospital both before
and after procedures and for supporting the patients during their time in the forward waiting area of the Dept. To
transport patients safely around the Trust using appropriate equipment To check and change medical gas cylinders.
Utilising the Care cube system, locate all patients on the cath lab schedule. Ensure collection slips are prepared in
advance of the lists. To checklist the patient on arrival at the ward to ensure they are correctly prepared before
leaving for the lab Ensure a handover of important information to the receiving nurse is made. To use Basic Life Support
