About the Role

INFORMATION ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Critical Care Units in Leeds Teaching Hospitals are based in Leeds General

Infirmary (LGI) and St Jamess University Hospital (SJUH). We provide critical care support for a comprehensive range of

adult specialties. Across the two hospitals there are over 80 critical care beds, with plans for further expansion.

MEDICAL STAFF IN THE DEPARTMENT The Critical Care team consists of consultant intensivists from anaesthetic and medical

backgrounds, supported by ICM trainees, Junior Clinical Fellows, IMTs, ACCS/DRREM trainees, Respiratory StRs, as well as

anaesthetic trainees. In addition to this we are supported by a team of Advanced Critical Care Practitioners, critical
