About the Role

Ophthalmology Department

The Ophthalmology Department (part of the Head and Neck Care Group) at NHS HHP are primarily

located at all the main hospital sites in the group (Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital, Diana Princess

of Wales Hospital at Grimsby, Scunthorpe General Hospital, and Goole & District Hospital) where the

consultants are also based. The Ophthalmology Departments serve a population of nearly 600,000. Daily activity consists

of out-patient clinics, surgery and 24 hours on call cover.
