About the Role

The current base for the Department of Otolaryngology is currently at The Royal London hospital with Head and Neck

Cancer surgery performed at UCLH. The Outpatient Department is well stocked with outpatient microscopes, including video

monitors, and rigid & flexible endoscopes. The adult inpatient wards are on this site, as is the Short Stay ward. There

is high level nursing care for complex head & neck patients. The In-patient theatres provide support for all aspects of

modern otolaryngological practice. The Department of Audiology is based at the Whitechapel site. In addition there is

collaboration with the Departments of Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
