About the Role

The post holder will be based mainly in the emergency department, supporting the resident team alongside Consultant,

reviewing patients. In order to ensure the smooth running of the service, the post holder will: The post holder will be

responsible for initial treatment and management of the Emergency Department patients under the guidance of the

in-charge consultant and/or Registrar. The post holder will be expected to review independently and manage straight

forward and moderately complex cases with minimal supervision. The postholder will supervise the care of patients whilst

they are on clinical duties. Maintain accurate record keeping for every patient seen and communication made with General
